About

The Mutual Wave Machine combines art, neuroscience, and education to capture the elusive notion of 'being on the same wavelength' with each other.
The Mutual Wave Machine is an intimate audiovisual capsule that responds to shared brain activity of its audience. Two visitors at a time experience their brainwave synchronisation as they try to approach or distance themselves internally.
The Mutual Wave Machine reflects greater brainwave synchronisation through vivid and coherent audiovisual patterns. While lack of synchronisation leads towards darkness and audio-visual chaos.
